Contemporary Vintage
Connecting audiences to culture in new and unexpected ways for the post-digital age
We established Contemporary Vintage as a creative complement to our strategic work in connecting audiences to culture. It was a response to the fact that it has become increasingly important to find ways of aligning physical and digital experiences and communicating content over multiple platforms. This meant taking a fresh approach to working across traditional organisational boundaries, and joining up the thinking that goes into digital, broadcast and experiential programming.
At a time when arts organisations are judged more than ever on their reach, competition for public attention has never been more challenging. We found interesting angles to make cultural content more compelling to contemporary audiences, shifting preconceptions and building new consumer relationships. We also recognised the potential for value to be derived from building creative relationships between cultural organisations and commercial brands.
Operating as a close collective of trusted associates, each expert in a specific area, we were able to offer a remarkable breadth of experience. This enabled us to develop effective and unexpected ideas in answer to the needs of our cultural clients and in partnership with commercial sponsors.
