Japan House
Building a digital partnership for website redesign
“Oliver’s expert guidance and industry knowledge has been invaluable in supporting Japan House London’s digital transformation.”
Funded through the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Japan House London is a unique organisation dedicated to deepening interest and understanding in Japan. It does this through its venue on Kensington High Street which offers a rich cultural programme alongside a carefully curated retail experience, as well as its online presence.
Working closely with the Japan House team, we prepared the ground for redeveloping the London website, while keeping it in harmony with the other Japan House sites. Keeping a careful balance between the cultural and commercial strands of the offer, the aim was to improve the user experience and deepen engagement with the brand.
This project illustrates our experience supporting internal teams with the vital process of decision making, putting them in the driving seat.
The new website was developed in partnership between The Unloved and Effect Digital and you can see the result here...
“By talking to staff, understanding their needs and asking the right questions, he created interest and excitement across the board.
The key outcomes – a clear and comprehensive brief and an agreement with the right partner – were delivered to an exceptional standard.”
